About FCS Laser Mail
Founded in 1971, FCS has been providing information technology solutions for almost 40 years. The Laser-Mail division was established in 1975 to service the high volume printing requirements of the parent group and latterly moved into the commercial marketplace to offer a highly competitive quality service to a number of Blue Chip companies.
Such was the success of this commercial venture, the management of the Laser-Mail Division successfully submitted plans for a Management Buy Out in 1996. As a result the company is almost entirely employee owned.
The company possesses an impressive range of hardware fully networked directly into latest technology laser printers. Our laser printers, capable of handling up to 2 million sheets per day, are supplied essentially by IBM and Rank Xerox and can print at a resolution of 2400 by 1200 dpi - dots per inch. The mailing house which complements our printing facility can boast a range of equipment including eight Pitney Bowes 4, 6 & 10 station inserters capable of handling over 1,000,000 items per day, with full BCR, OCR or OMR integrity control along with file based processing.
Add to this our impressive list of software products which cover all aspects of data processing, printing, mailing, archive and distribution from composition/form design to mailsort and international despatch, FCS can provide a totally in-house solution for all your database, printing and mailing requirements.
Facilities management is a specialist area for FCS and we are prepared to absorb your entire print & mail operation - either on your site or transferred to FCS Head Office and all under TUPE regulations.
Owing to the impressive growth figures FCS Laser-Mail has recently moved into new purpose built premises offering much greater storage and production facilities.
